You may like to consider Pressure Treated Overlap fencing panels or Golden Dipped fencing panels. If noise is an issue in your area, the thicker Feather Edge panels or Treated Close Board panels are constructed from heavier timber and will provide some element of noise-reduction.

Security

A trellis-topped or trellis fence is almost impossible to climb over as it will collapse under a person’s weight. The noise and damage this would cause can deter opportunists.
